2023 Selected Works

A deep passion for learning is core to my creative practice. Finding new ways to utilize materials. Learning about a craft or cultural phenomenon. It is the through line for many of the glimmers, fulfilling connections, and revelations in my life; reminding me of who I am, what I aspire to, and possibilities beyond my current imaginings. 2023’s works are a commitment to evolution in all ways, including working with new media. 2023 is one year into my cake decorating apprenticeship; while I am early in my learning, I’ve refined techniques and begun to find my stylistic approach. This learning is profoundly joyful, and I am so grateful to everyone who’s guided me, encouraged me, and entrusted me with bringing their cake ideas to life.
