Frequently Asked Questions

How can I buy your work?

Please visit the SHOP section of the website. All of my work is sold with the exclusive intention of personal use. I put a lot of time and love into my pieces, and I want those qualities to be recognized and respected. I reserve the right to refuse any sale.

Payment plans are available upon request. Buyers initiating payment plans understand they are committing to purchase a specific work, will fulfill payment in a timely fashion at the agreed intervals, and will receive the piece when payment is received in full.

All work sales are final—no returns or holds available.

Are commissions available?

Commissions are taken on rare occasion. Serious proposals can be submitted through the CONTACT form. Proposals must include an outline of the imagined work: media, size, reference photographs (if applicable), all pertinent deadlines. Commission proposals are submitted with the understanding that, if accepted, the person commissioning the work is committing to its full purchase, will fulfill all payments in a timely fashion, and will be available for any and all further communications about the work and its production.

Patch commissions begin at $300, drawings begin at $500. These prices are referential but not all encapsulating—each piece’s unique attributes, time, and materials are factored into final pricing.

Commission requests are to be submitted at least two months prior to when they would be needed. If proposal is accepted, a 50% deposit is required for work to begin. The remaining 50% payment is due at work completion (commission work times vary and will be communicated if the proposal is accepted). The commissioner will receive the piece when the work is paid for in full. Alternate payment plans are available upon request. All packaging and shipping costs are the responsibility of the person commissioning the work.

What kinds of commissions are available?

Accepted commissions are ones that complement my personal artistic style, interests, and fit in with my schedule. Accepted commissions are ones that are exclusively for personal use and enjoyment. Most accepted commissions are multi-media pet portrait illustrations. One-of-one hand-embroidered felt patches under 6” in diameter are also accepted. It is worth noting these patches do not have iron-on backings; they are made to be sewn onto other fabrics.

What kinds of commissions are not available?

I do not accept commissions for multiple identical patches, machine-sewn patches, or digital illustration work. I cannot fulfill commissions that ask me to work in ways I am uncomfortable with or have short turn-around dates. Commission requests must be articulated as clearly as possible and complement the ways I work professionally.

Are pieces outside of the Shop section available for sale?

Yes! Please use the CONTACT page to ask about particular pieces.
